Gerard MacLellan is a Registered Edmonton Psychologist specializing in individual, couples and family therapy. He maintains a private practice in Edmonton, AB, located centrally in the heart of Old Strathcona, just north of Whyte Avenue.
He is currently serving as private practitioner working with a broad spectrum of clients. Among his areas of expertise are anxiety and depression, phobias, relationship difficulties, workplace wellness and stress management. In addition Gerard has an interest in holistic health, including weight management, addictions, exercise and life-style management.
Gerard is an interactive, solution-focused therapist. His therapeutic approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges. He integrates complementary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client. Anna Stenton
Registered Psychologist
Anna has training and experience in assessing and treating a wide range of psychological disorders including anxiety, depression (and other mood disorders), grief, personality disorders, addiction, adjustment disorders, emotional dysregulation and issues related to overall wellness and life satisfaction.
She has experience working with clients who have been exposed to a variety of traumatic experiences. The wide-ranging and long-term effects of this exposure can have a significant impact on an individual’s mental health and wellness. Understanding the impact of complex trauma allows her to work with clients from many different backgrounds in a compassionate and trauma-informed way.
Anna views counselling in a practical and personal way by meeting clients where they are at and creating a safe environment for clients to share their thoughts, feelings, and concerns. She utilizes an integrated approach where she customizes her interventions to each individual client and their unique set of circumstances by drawing on a variety of evidence-based modes of therapy. Specifically, she utilizes elements of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Reality Therapy, Client-Centered Therapy, and EMDR.
